Three Telecom Production Workstreams, Landed Under SLA at Once

Ran three production-critical telecom workstreams in parallel under SLA pressure, a platinum-SLA outage restoration with RCA, a hypercare stabilization lane, and a customer-facing security disclosure, and landed all three.

Ran three production-critical telecom workstreams in parallel under SLA pressure: a platinum-SLA outage restoration with RCA, a hypercare stabilization lane, and a customer-facing security disclosure. Landed all three, with service restored within SLA, the release stabilized, and security sign-off accepted.

Context and stakes

At an enterprise software group working on a BSS platform, an EveryTech principal consultant ran concurrent telecom workstreams on different operational clocks: a production support lane, a hypercare delivery lane, and a pre-release security lane.

The stakes were real and simultaneous. One stream was a live production outage under a platinum SLA. Another was clustered production issues arriving during remediation. The third needed security evidence that customer stakeholders would accept before rollout.

Problem

Three pressures landed at once:

  • A production-down event needed rapid restoration and a credible RCA under a strict support SLA.
  • Hypercare delivery needed daily stabilization while production issues arrived in batches.
  • A separate rollout was blocked until it had SAST and container-scan evidence plus a clear, client-readable security report.
